Scheduling-

- After placing your order, you will receive a call within 48 hours to confirm your order.
- Once your order has been confirmed you will be asked to set a time to discuss your project with a Big Timber designer.
- The designer will ask for site photos, basic measurements, and discuss permitting requirements for your location.
- The Big Timber designer will complete a set of detailed drawings with your order specifications.
- Once you have reviewed and signed your detailed drawings the Big Timber project coordinator will contact you to schedule the installation.
Prepare

While we are prepared to do most of the work, we do ask for a few things to be completed prior to arrival.
- Big Timber structures are only designed to be installed on an existing concrete foundation or footers suitable to support your structure.
- The designer will discuss this with you in the design consultation.
- If you do not have an existing concrete foundation or footers, no problem. We can give you all the recommended specifications for you or your professional contractor to complete prior to your installation date.
- Our structures are installed on-site. We require a 3’ clear path to the building site and 3’ clearance around and above the building site.
Day Of

- You’ll receive a phone call the morning of the scheduled installation and delivery date.
- An installer will review the work order before installation begins.
- We request you be present at the start and the completion of the installation.
- Actual on-site installation for most structures can be completed within one or two days. Your installer will arrive with your structure pre-cut and pre-stained, minimizing disruption to your day and your landscape. Larger and/or more complex designs will require additional days, yet still provide minimal disruption.
Review

- Most pergolas and pavilions can be installed in one day (larger sizes may take two days).
- Your installer will review your structure with you before departing. Any final questions you have can also be answered at this time.
- It’s time to invite your friends over for a glass of wine.
